Matt Meagher Named Partner at Bowers & Company CPAs

Bowers & Company CPAs, PLLC is proud to announce Matthew R. Meagher, CPA has been named a Partner in the Firm. Matt is a tax specialist with our Watertown branch.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Clarkson University and obtained his CPA license in 2009. He has been in Public Accounting for 14 years and brings a broad range of industry experience in medical, manufacturing, retail, construction, and service-based industry. Matt focuses on business management consulting and individual tax planning.

Matt currently serves as the treasurer of Thousand Islands Area Habitat for Humanity and is also the treasurer for the Michael J. Cerroni Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to Carthage High School graduates.

Prior to serving on the board of the Northern New York Community Foundation, Matt was a board member of Transitional Living Services of Northern New York where he served out a 10-year term, and also functioned as a treasurer for three years. He was also a member of the Black River Valley Club for 10 years serving on the board for a total of six years, four of which were served as treasurer.
