Originally from Marcellus, NY, Joseph is a high school graduate of Christian Brothers Academy. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2011 and his Master of Accounting Degree in 2012, both from Syracuse University. Joseph is a Tax Manager in our Syracuse office and has over seven years of experience in public accounting, specializing in partnership and corporate tax.

Before joining the Bowers & Company team, Joseph spent seven years in New York City working in the public accounting industry. While in NYC, he started out as a Financial Services Tax Associate at Rothstein Kass in 2012. When Rothstein Kass was acquired by KPMG in 2014, Joseph joined KPMG and remained there for five years, earning multiple promotions. In 2021, Joseph decided to relocate back to the Central New York area to be closer to family.
